About this place
A good place to start is Kitayama Blend, roasted exclusively for the shop. Its fragrant aroma and pronounced body make it an inviting choice if you are not yet sure what you like. For a more distinctive cup, Ethiopia Mocha G-2 offers the floral aroma and acidity associated with mocha, while Mandheling Aceh G-1 has a soft mouthfeel followed by a full-bodied finish. The menu makes it easy to explore how coffees from different origins compare.
At the Kitayama branch, coffee made with beans from around the world is brewed to order, one cup at a time, using a paper filter. Some visitors have enjoyed watching their coffee being made in front of them; one reviewer also mentioned drinking it unsweetened alongside a matcha financier. Beans are sold in the shop, too. A visitor who sipped iced coffee on the terrace while choosing beans noted its deep aroma and moderate acidity.
For a lighter mouthfeel, consider Friendship Blend. Charcoal-Roasted Special Blend is another option, with a clean finish followed by body and bitterness. If you prefer milk, try Hot au Lait, made by adding plenty of milk to Kitayama Blend, or Café au Lait, available hot or iced. The shop offers both dine-in and takeaway service, as well as terrace seating. Whether you stop for a cup between errands or come to browse the beans, you can shape your visit around the coffee you choose.
